A comprehensive survey of the vessels equipment and structure ascertaining the overall condition of the vessel and providing recommendations on any work required.
A survey to satisfy the requirements of insurance companies as to the seaworthiness and safety aspects of the vessel. Whilst primarily intended to meet insurance requirements a comprehensive report is provided to aid in the ongoing vessel maintenance.
An in depth survey solely investigating any and all damage caused to the vessel from the event in question, whatever the cause.
An inspection to ascertain the current fair market value for a vessel
Commencing with percussion testing and a visual inspection of the hull a series of measurements are taken of the hull, both above and below the waterline using a Tritex 5600 ultrasound thickness tester.
Tonnage measurement as required for application for registration on the UK part 1 registry of ships for vvessels up to 24 m LOA
A personalised services focusing on particular needs of the client. Whether this be preparing their vessel for an extended voyage, buying
the first vessel and helping decide what is the correct vessel for the your needs or discussing repairs and /or alterations with builders or yards.
If you are new to boating, I am able to help with familiarisation with your vessel, or help on test sails when establishing the type of vessel best suited to you and your plans.
Holding a Yachtmaster certificate and having sailed in excess 185,000nm and still counting on a range of vessels both power and sail monohulls and catamarans big and small, in all weathers during all seasons.
I am also able to help in the relocation of your vessel to and from any destination, having been involved in yacht delivery for many of years
All surveys are undertaken under contract following an accepted quote.
